Tele-Tool Use in Palliative Care

A growing number of researchers and clinicians are establishing the value of tele-tools to supplement conventionally delivered palliative care—or in the case of absence of formal palliative care services, suggesting the use of tools to:

  • help patients get more involved in their own care
  • provide potential means for helping already chronically ill and weakened patients to stay relatively stable and need less emergent care.
